When large enough to handle, transplant the seedlings to boxes or 7.5cm (3in) pots. Pinch out the growing point when the plants are about 5cm (2in) tall. When well grown gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions and plant out in late spring 30cm (12in) apart in full sun and light, well drained soil. For container plants and hanging baskets grow on in 7.5cm (3in) pots, cool and well ventilated and plant up allowing each plant 10-15cm (4-6in) of space. Allow the plants to become established for 7-10 days before placing outdoors.
