Mr. Men Little Miss Tomato 'Veranda Red' F1 - Seeds Solanum lycopersicum L. Half-hardy Annual Kids will love growing, harvesting and eating their own sweet tomatoes with Tomato 'Veranda Red F1. This dwarf variety produces up to 75 fruits per plant, each 12-16g. Suitable for patio pots, hanging baskets, or containers, it has good resistance to Fusarium, Verticillium and some late blight. British bred and perfected over 15 years, its an ideal early-ripening tomato for young gardeners. Growing Instructions: Sow seeds on the surface of a good, free-draining, damp seed sowing mix and cover lightly. Maintain 1520°C until germination (714 days). Transplant seedlings into 7. 5cm pots, growing on at minimum 15°C. Plant out after frost risk has passed, spacing 60cm apart in full sun. Support with a cane and tie main stems. Water regularly, feed with high potash fertiliser once fruit sets. Remove sideshoots and pinch out top after 67 trusses. Harvest from July to October.
