Tomato 'Rainbow Drops Mix' F1 produces a colourful cascade of sweet cherry tomatoes in red, yellow, and orange. Most fruits grow above the foliage, making harvesting simple and enjoyable. Plants are quick to set new fruits after the first harvest, ensuring crops continue throughout summer. Each fruit weighs 8–12g with a Brix of 8, perfect for snacking straight from the basket, pot, or window box. This basket and container variety grows to 30cm in height with a spread of 40–50cm and requires no staking or side shooting. Companion planting with marigolds, basil, chives, or mint helps deter pests naturally. Growing Instructions For greenhouse cultivation, sow February to April; for outdoors, sow March to April. Sow seeds on the surface of free-draining seed compost, cover lightly, and keep at 15–20°C until germination (7–14 days). Transplant seedlings with 2 true leaves into 7. 5cm pots and grow at a minimum of 15°C. Gradually acclimatise plants before planting outdoors after frost risk has passed. Space plants 60cm apart in full sun on fertile, well-drained soil. Water regularly and feed with high-potash fertiliser. Harvest fruits as they ripen from July to September.
