Rhubarb 'Stockbridge Arrow' (Rheum x hybridum) is a traditional Yorkshire-bred variety, renowned for its bold, deep red stems and rich flavour. A high-yielding, late-season crop, it’s perfect for gardeners looking to extend their rhubarb harvest into early summer. The long, thick stalks are ideal for all kinds of culinary uses – from tangy crumbles and sweet compotes to homemade jams. This hardy perennial thrives in moist but well-drained soil and prefers a sunny location. It's excellent for early forcing and will reliably produce tender stems from April through June.
