Sata Pcie Card 6 Port Expansion

SATA III (6Gbps) PCI Express 3.0 PCIe x4 Slot 6x SATA Connectors with 2-Year Warranty. This 6-port SATA III controller enables you to add six SATA 6Gbps Hard Drives or Solid State Drives to your computer system or server via an available PCIe x4 card slot. The card supports SATA III and PCI-Express 3.0 Specifications with the ASM1166 controller for high-performance drive connectivity. The SATA drives connect via six individual SATA ports on the card (SATA cables sold separately). The controller is widely supported across Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems. The card supports port multiplier, allowing multiple drives to connect to a single SATA port with additional hardware. It does not have a built-in RAID controller but fully supports software RAID. With PCIe 3.0 and SATA III support, the card ensures backward compatibility with previous generations (SATA I/II, PCIe 1/2) at lower performance. The SATA controller features plug-and-play installation and works in full-profile and low-profile systems with included brackets. It supports storage software data management systems such as Storage Spaces, RAID Assistant and mdraid/mdadm. Backed by a 2-year warranty and free lifetime North American multi-lingual support. | StarTech.com Sata Pcie Card 6 Port Expansion in Red
