SPAX decking screws are the ultimate screw for outside decking’s, giving a professional invisible finish. The combination of 4CUT point and the patented ground serrations gives you a new top-notch SPAX. It not only stretches the material out, but it also divides the fibres while the thread with the optimized ground serrations drives the screw on. This prevents the material from splitting. The ridges mould into the wood surface, trimming off the drilled hole. The small cylindrical head can easily be countersunk into timber with reduced splitting of the material, providing a perfect visual appearance. SPAX will give trouble-free fastening in all varieties of working materials - from hard and soft wood to plastics to thin metal sheet and extruded profiles. Naturally the new SPAX has the building authority's approval. The 4cut point means the screw point takes immediate hold meaning there is no need for pre-drilling even in hard woods. The multi-head allows the cutting ribs to help the head countersink into wood easily whilst the deeper recess in the screw head creates a longer bit hold. The fixing thread at the top of the screw permits a safe and permanent connection of wood parts. Antique screws are made of stainless steel whose colouring was achieved by thermal processing.
