Enhance your outdoor living with the stunning, handmade 10ft x 6ft Orchid Summerhouse from Shire. Making the perfect space to read, dine or escape to for some rest and relaxation, this garden room will provide plenty of enjoyment for years to come. This contemporary summer house combines premium quality, practical design, and an attractive aesthetic. With its signature curved roof, the Orchid is not only unobtrusive, but practical too with an ability to shed rainwater effectively. With an eaves height of 5 ft 10 raising to a 7 ft height at the front, this summer house will provide a comfortable area to use as you wish. Featuring high quality double doors, fitted with a mortice lock, you can easily open up your summer house to enjoy the fresh air. What's more, thanks to the small canopy to the front of the build, you will remain sheltered from the elements. Four large windows have also been incorporated into the design, two fixed and two with openings, to welcome plenty of daylight into your space throughout the day. The windows are glazed with styrene safety glazing, and created with storm resistant joinery to keep you nice and cosy inside if the weather takes an unexpected turn. Built from slow grown, high grade European pine, this structure will last through frequent use. Constructed on a sturdy 34mm square frame, clad with planed shiplap tongue and groove boards, and combined with an 8mm plywood roof, the Orchid is robust for long term use as an outbuilding. The timber arrives pre-treated with a honey brown preservative base coat, ready for you to paint or stain immediately after installation. This allows you to choose just the right colour to suit your space and to stand out from the crowd. Assembly: Fixings, green roof mineral felt, and assembly instructions are supplied. Before you assemble your building, you will need a base which is flat and level to a sufficient size. Grass, soil or gravel are not sufficient as they will move with the weight of a building. You should also make allowance for the roof overhang and for access around the outside during construction and subsequent treatment.
