Vertical Log Splitter LS550V

The Sealey Vertical Log Splitter is a powerful electric log splitting machine designed for efficient wood processing in workshops, yards and firewood preparation operations. Delivering up to 6 tonnes of splitting pressure, this vertical configuration unit offers a safe and controlled method for splitting logs up to 550mm in length and 300mm in diameter. The adjustable wedge positioning system allows operators to place workpieces as close to the splitting wedge as possible, significantly reducing cycle times and improving productivity. This thoughtful design feature minimises the distance the ram needs to travel, making the splitting process more efficient when processing large quantities of firewood or timber. Safety is prioritised through the two-hand operation system, which requires simultaneous use of twin pull-in and push-down levers to activate the splitting cycle. This design ensures hands are kept clear of the splitting zone during operation. The unit is fitted with a CE standard guard for additional operator protection and complies with current safety regulations. Mobility is enhanced by the inclusion of wheels, allowing the 98.2kg unit to be repositioned around the work area as needed. Powered by a 3000W motor operating on 230V, this log splitter provides consistent performance for both professional groundsmen and serious domestic users processing their own firewood supplies.
