Spud Wrench 31400

The RIDGID 31400 Spud Wrench is a specialised 300mm stilson wrench designed for working with square and rectangular stock in confined spaces. Its distinctive narrow jaw profile allows tradespeople to access tight areas where standard wrenches cannot reach, making it an essential tool for pipefitters, plumbers and mechanical contractors working on industrial installations. Unlike conventional pipe wrenches, this spud wrench features smooth, toothless jaws that grip securely without marking or damaging polished, plated or finished surfaces. This makes it ideal for assembly work involving decorative fittings, precision components or any application where surface integrity must be maintained. The wrench offers a pipe capacity range of 10-67mm, providing versatility across common pipe sizes and square stock dimensions. The 12-inch tool delivers excellent leverage whilst remaining compact enough for toolbags and tight working environments. Its robust construction weighs 1.1kg, providing the durability needed for demanding professional use whilst remaining manageable for extended periods.
