Light Duty Chain Wrench

The Ridgid Light Duty Chain Wrench is a robust pipe-gripping tool designed for plumbers and heating engineers working in confined spaces. Featuring a sturdy cast-iron housing combined with an I-beam handle, this chain wrench delivers fast, ratchet-like action in both directions thanks to its double jaw design. Built for durability, this light-duty model incorporates a one-piece forged alloy steel handle and jaw construction that provides reliable performance on smaller diameter pipes. The chain wrench design makes it particularly effective for gripping chrome-plated, polished, or irregularly shaped pipes where traditional wrenches might slip or cause surface damage. Ideal for use in close quarters where standard pipe wrenches cannot access, this compact tool is suitable for plumbing installations, heating system maintenance, and general pipework tasks involving nominal pipe sizes up to 50mm.
