Pair Early 20th Century French Louis XVI Style Parlour Chairs

A pair of early 20th-century French parlour chairs dating to around 1890–1910, made in the Louis XVI style with fluted tapered legs, carved rosette details and open arms. Both are upholstered in a soft sage green linen fabric with a textured weave, finished with traditional studwork around the seats and rectangular backs. The wooden frames are solid and the seats remain good and firm. The upholstery is in pretty good condition with some wear to the upholstered arms and a little staining to one of the backs. Their compact proportions make them particularly useful for smaller rooms, giving you a proper pair of French armchairs without taking up too much floor space. H:86cm W:60cm D:65cm
