19th Century French Ponne

19th century large French ponne with a beautifully weathered grey surface, aged terracotta tones, and traditional twin handled form. Originally used in rural French homes and farms to preserve food. Its sculptural shape and muted earthy colouring make it a striking decorative piece for rustic, wabi-sabi, and rustic French-inspired interiors. Ideal styled with foraged branches, wildflowers, or dried stems on a dining table, kitchen island, outdoor space. The naturally aged surface, traces of mossy patina, and hand-crafted detailing give this antique vessel strong presence and texture within a room. H:40cm W:50cm D:36cm Free delivery in England
