This larger size is ideal for sizeable conduit work, larger electrical fittings, and various applications requiring a 70mm aperture. Featuring heat-treated cutting edges with a protective black anti-corrosive surface finish, this punch consistently produces clean, burr-free holes. The special load distribution design ensures smooth, even cutting action, making operation efficient even when working with tougher materials within the 16 gauge range. As a larger punch, this 70mm model uses the simplified configuration with threading in the punch itself rather than on the hexagonal screw, eliminating the die nut component. This streamlined design makes assembly quicker and operation more straightforward. A 14mm hexagonal wrench (ME type) is required to operate the mechanism effectively and provide sufficient torque for this cutting diameter.
