The pH level of your water will impact how much limescale is actually formed making it even more important to regularly check the pH levels of your water! When limescale does form, its important that you remove it quickly. Not only does it look unsightly, but it can eventually cause damage to your pipes, making your whirlpool, spa or hot tub work less efficiently. ScaleStop prevents and removes limescale deposits caused by mineral precipitation which often builds up rapidly on spa surfaces due to relatively high-water temperatures. To remove large amounts of limescale build-up, we advise draining your hot tub, thoroughly cleaning it and then re-filling and adding ScaleStop on a weekly basis to prevent the build-up of limescale.
