No.096 Floral Alchemy 1928 Vintage Poster Prints 30cm x 40cm

Floral Alchemy 1928 This exquisite French block print from 1928 depicts a burst of vibrant petals in a floral arrangement. The radiant star-shaped flowers are scattered throughout the print, featuring clusters of pearly daisies, flushed poppies, and blue cornflowers. These flowers symbolise the inner garden of the soul, representing the harmonisation of feminine and masculine principles within the physical and psychic realms of the Alchemical process. The Romantic era, known for its focus on emotions and spiritually-inspired art, gave rise to a carefree and loosely structured artistic style that was deeply influenced by imagination. ’There is a flower within my heartDaisy, DaisyPlanted one day by a glancing dartPlanted by Daisy BellWhether she loves me or loves me notSometimes it's hard to tellYet I am longing to share the lotA beautiful Daisy BellDaisy, Daisy, give me your answer doI'm half crazy all for the love of you’ Daisy Bell By Harry Dacre 1892 This original design has been restored and digitally reproduced using ethically sourced materials.
