Belarina Series Candy Autumn Bedding Plant 9cm Pot

Masses of beautifully ruffled, rose-like blooms bring early-season colour to pots, borders and window boxes, with each fully double flower blending rich lavender-pink tones with crisp white frosted edges for a striking display. Forming neat, deer and rabbit resistant, clump-growing rosettes of green, semi-evergreen foliage, Primula Candy Frost is perfect for brightening the front of a border or creating eye-catching spring container displays. The scented flowers appear in abundance and make a lovely feature close to paths and doorways where their intricate detail can be appreciated. Easy to grow and simple to maintain, this hardy perennial thrives in moist, well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Regularly removing faded flowers encourages even more blooms, helping to keep the display looking fresh for longer. For use as winter/spring bedding plants, plant primulas into fresh, free-draining compost and position pots and baskets in a bright, sheltered spot, avoiding harsh midday sun. Water well after planting, keep the compost just moist through winter, remove faded flowers regularly, and protect containers from prolonged hard frost to keep plants tidy and flowering well. Alternatively, plant out in a partially shaded and sheltered position, adding position, adding plenty of leaf mould and compost to the planting hole and backfill. Water well until established. Divide large clumps in late spring or early summer after the plant has flowered, preferably during a wet spell. | Primrose Belarina Series Candy Autumn Bedding Plant 9cm Pot in Purple
