3 x Pollyanna Frosty Autumn Bedding 9cm Pot

Forming a neat, compact rosette of richly textured, dark green evergreen leaves, this hardy perennial produces an abundance of large, fully double white flowers that create a bright, elegant display from the cooler months into spring. Its tidy habit makes Primula 'Frosty White' an excellent choice for patio pots, window boxes, borders and seasonal bedding, where the luminous blooms pair beautifully with other spring favourites. Adaptable and easy to grow, it thrives in moist, well-drained soil in partial shade and asks for very little in return. Naturally resistant to deer and rabbits, it's a dependable choice for adding long-lasting seasonal colour to gardens of all sizes. For use as winter/spring bedding plants, plant primulas into fresh, free-draining compost and position pots and baskets in a bright, sheltered spot, avoiding harsh midday sun. Water well after planting, keep the compost just moist through winter, remove faded flowers regularly, and protect containers from prolonged hard frost to keep plants tidy and flowering well. Alternatively, plant out in a partially shaded and sheltered position, adding position, adding plenty of leaf mould and compost to the planting hole and backfill. Water well until established.
