Watering Tray Capillary Matting 2 x Watering Tray Capillary Matting

Ideal for the growing bench in the greenhouse, this great-value set of two trays and capillary mats gives seedlings and cuttings a drink of water from the root zone, taking up water through the roots rather than on the leaves. Sprinkling water on seedlings and young plants can cause damping-off disease and kill them, making a mockery of your hard work in the greenhouse. With this set, you can fit multiple seed trays on the watering trays to cover the watering needs of several seed varieties that you have sown. The capillary mats act as two-way sponges for water. They hold onto moisture but release excess if the soil in your seed trays is too saturated. This ensures great seedling health. Perfect for seed sowing and propagation Great-value four-piece kit (2 x watering trays, 2 x capillary mats) Large 56cm x 31cm trays Capillary mats perfect for water-uptake for seedlings and cuttings
