GS8000 Series Lacerta 6 Gun

Police Approved Gun Safe | BS 7558/92 | 1, 3 or 6 Gun Capacity The Phoenix Lacerta Gun Safe is a practical and secure solution for the responsible storage of shotguns and rifles within the home. Designed specifically for firearms storage, the Lacerta combines robust steel construction, high-security twin key locking and secure floor or wall fixing in a slim, space-efficient design. Available in 1, 3 and 6-gun capacities, the range makes it easy to select a cabinet appropriate to your firearm collection and available installation space. Designed for Secure Firearms Storage The Phoenix Lacerta is designed to meet British Standard BS 7558/92 for gun cabinets and is specified by Phoenix as 100% Police Approved. Its robust construction features a galvanised steel body and door, providing a durable protective enclosure for securely stored firearms. Unlike the higher-security Tucana and Rigel ranges, the Lacerta is designed primarily as a dedicated firearms cabinet rather than an independently certified security safe, making it an excellent entry point into the Phoenix gun-safe collection. Choose from 1, 3 or 6-Gun Capacity The Lacerta is available in three sizes to suit different firearm collections: Twin High-Security Key Locks Every Lacerta is secured by two high-security 7-lever key locks, providing simple and reliable mechanical security without batteries or electronic components. Protective Interior Inside the cabinet, a high-density foam gun divider helps keep individual firearms securely positioned and separated. A protective floor mat provides a softer surface beneath stored firearms, helping to reduce unnecessary contact between stocks and the steel cabinet. Secure Floor or Wall Fixing Correct installation is an essential part of firearms security. All three Lacerta models are prepared for secure fixing to either the floor or wall, with fixing bolts supplied, allowing the cabinet to be securely anchored to an appropriate structural surface. The exterior is finished in a durable Metallic Graphite paint, providing a smart and understated appearance suitable for installation within the home or another appropriate secure location. SafeFort Recommendation The Phoenix Lacerta is an excellent choice for customers looking for a straightforward, well-constructed gun cabinet for the secure storage of shotguns or rifles. With 1, 3 and 6-gun versions, the range is particularly useful where space is limited or where the additional certified burglary protection of a heavier security safe isn't required. The compact GS8000K is ideal for a single firearm, while the GS8001K provides a useful three-gun capacity without taking up significantly more space. For larger collections, the wider and deeper GS8002K accommodates up to six firearms. For owners of higher-value firearms, or customers who require independently certified burglary protection, we recommend considering the Phoenix Tucana S1 or Phoenix Rigel Grade I ranges as the next step up in security.
