S2 Certified | £4,000 Cash / £40,000 Valuables | High-Security Safe The Phoenix Fortress SS1450 Series is a high-security safe designed to provide independently certified protection for cash, jewellery, watches and other valuable possessions in the home or workplace. Independently tested and ECB.S certified to the European EN 14450 S2 security standard, the Fortress carries a recommended £4,000 cash / £40,000 valuables rating and is both UK Police approved through Secured by Design and AiS approved. Available in four sizes from 10 to 95 litres, with a choice of high-security Key or Electronic locking, the Fortress provides certified security in a clean, contemporary design suitable for both residential and commercial environments. EN 14450 S2 Certified Security The Fortress has been independently tested to the recognised European EN 14450 S2 security standard and is ECB.S certified. This provides a manufacturer-recommended £4,000 cash rating or £40,000 valuables rating, making the Fortress particularly well suited to protecting jewellery, watches, cash and other valuable possessions. The range is also approved by the Association of Insurance Surveyors (AiS) and carries UK Police Secured by Design approval, providing additional reassurance when selecting a safe for your home or business. Four Sizes to Suit Your Requirements The Fortress is available in four practical sizes. Every size provides the same EN 14450 S2 certified security and recommended £4,000 cash / £40,000 valuables rating. Choice of Key or Electronic Locking Every Fortress size is available with a choice of high-security Key or Electronic locking. Substantial Security Construction The Fortress uses a robust double-wall construction designed to provide substantial resistance against physical attack. Critical areas of the door are protected by anti-drill plates, while a re-locker mechanism provides an additional layer of protection should an attempt be made to attack the primary locking system. Substantial 25mm live locking bolts secure the door when locked, creating a formidable barrier against forced entry. Ideal for Home & Business The Fortress is equally suited to residential and commercial use. At home, it provides independently certified protection for jewellery, watches, cash and other valuable possessions. In an office or commercial environment, its larger sizes also provide secure storage for confidential documents, financial records and other sensitive information. Secure storage of important company records can form part of an organisation's physical security measures when protecting confidential or personal information. The Fortress is also specified by Phoenix as suitable for the storage of controlled drugs where the total active ingredients do not exceed 500 grams, subject to the applicable storage requirements. Contemporary White Finish The Fortress is finished in a high-quality, scratch-resistant RAL 9003 White, giving the range a clean and contemporary appearance. Its understated design makes it particularly suitable for modern homes, offices and professional environments where the safe may be installed within furniture, cupboards or dedicated secure areas. SafeFort Recommendation The Phoenix Fortress SS1450 is an excellent choice for customers looking for a recognised, independently certified security safe without requiring dedicated fire protection. Its combination of EN 14450 S2 certification, ECB.S testing, AiS approval and Secured by Design approval, together with a recommended £40,000 valuables rating, makes it particularly well suited to protecting jewellery, watches, cash and other valuable possessions. Choose the Key Lock version for straightforward traditional access, or the Electronic Lock where convenient keyless entry and separate Master and User Codes are preferred. Where burglary protection is the principal requirement, the Fortress provides the same S2 security classification and £40,000 recommended valuables rating as the Phoenix Fortress Pro. Customers who also require certified protection for important documents against fire should consider upgrading to the Phoenix Fortress Pro SS1460, which adds 60 minutes' fire protection.
