Up to 120 Minutes' Fire Protection The Fire Fighter has been independently tested to the respected Swedish NT Fire 017 standard. The FS0441 and FS0442 provide up to 90 minutes' fire protection for paper documents, while the larger FS0444 provides an exceptional 120 minutes' protection. This makes the Fire Fighter particularly well suited to protecting important documents such as contracts, property records, accounts, personnel files, certificates and other irreplaceable paperwork against a serious fire. 60-Minute Protection for Digital Media Protection extends beyond conventional paper documents. The complete Fire Fighter range has been tested to the MTC DIP120-60DM fire test standard, providing up to 60 minutes' fire protection for digital media, including USB memory sticks, DVDs and hard drives. This allows important physical records and digital backups to be protected together within the same safe. Security for Cash & Valuables In addition to its exceptional fire protection, the Fire Fighter carries a manufacturer-recommended £2,500 overnight cash rating or £25,000 valuables rating. Substantial live locking bolts protect the door against physical attack, while the double-walled steel body and door incorporate multi-layered fire-resistant barrier materials. This combination makes the Fire Fighter an excellent choice for protecting cash, jewellery, watches and other valuable possessions alongside important documents. Three Sizes to Suit Your Requirements The Fire Fighter is available in three sizes: FS0441 – 63 Litre SafeThe most compact model in the range, providing 90 minutes' paper fire protection and 60 minutes' digital-media protection. FS0442 – 84 Litre SafeThe mid-sized model provides additional storage while retaining the same 90-minute paper and 60-minute digital-media fire protection. FS0444 – 163 Litre SafeThe largest Fire Fighter provides a substantial 163 litres of storage and increases paper fire protection to an exceptional 120 minutes. All three sizes carry the same recommended £2,500 cash / £25,000 valuables rating. Choice of Key, Electronic or Fingerprint Locking Every Fire Fighter size is available with a choice of Key, Electronic or Fingerprint locking, allowing access control to be matched to your individual requirements. Practical & Organised Interior Every Fire Fighter includes a lockable internal cash and valuables drawer, providing separate storage for smaller or more sensitive possessions. Height-adjustable shelving allows the main compartment to be configured around different combinations of documents, files and valuables, while internal key hooks provide convenient storage for important keys. The larger FS0442 and FS0444 are particularly well suited to business document storage, with generous internal dimensions capable of accommodating common office filing formats. Automatic Slam-Shut Locking The Fire Fighter features automatic slam-shut door locking, providing additional convenience in a busy home or workplace. Once the door is securely closed, the locking mechanism automatically engages, helping reduce the risk of the safe being inadvertently left unsecured after use. Fire & Impact Tested The Fire Fighter has also undergone a substantial 9.1-metre fire and impact drop test, designed to simulate the impact of a safe falling through the burning floors of a building during a severe fire. This provides additional reassurance that the safe has been designed to protect its contents in demanding fire conditions. SafeFort Recommendation The Phoenix Fire Fighter FS0440 is an excellent choice where protecting important documents against a serious fire is the primary consideration, but security against theft is also required. The 63-litre FS0441 provides substantial 90-minute protection in the most compact format, while the 84-litre FS0442 offers increased capacity for businesses or households with larger document-storage requirements. For particularly important records or larger archives, the 163-litre FS0444 is the standout model, increasing paper protection to an exceptional 120 minutes while providing substantially greater storage capacity.
