The albatross known to be the largest bird alive, lives in the oceans south of the Tropic of Capricorn but also in the North Pacific. The latter has the ability to use the winds to its advantage and can therefore travel great distances effortlessly. Its diet consists mainly of fish, squid or even krill which it finds on the surface. Did you know that once formed, albatross couples are faithful for life.
