Mouture Print Hubert Mardi 30x40cm

Everyday objects and abstracted landscapes combine in Mouture by Parisian artist Hubert Mardi. Channeling the work of art greats such as Braque, Pollock and Malevich, Mardi focuses on painting techniques that utilize layers of acrylic paint and varnish to bring texture and depth into his compositions. Engraving provides a hint of realism within the work, revealing a jug and an elongated grass stem that stretches up through the black forms and across the deep brown backdrop. An Art print / poster manufactured in Denmark from Environmentally certified materials and production.
