Carafe Print Julita Elbe 50x70cm

The Carafe by German artist Julita Elbe is an exploration it compositional contrasts. Using only the most simple and straightforward design rules when creating her work, Elbe strikes a balance between simplicity and expression. The centerpiece of this composition is a graphic carafe in a black and white checkerboard pattern – complete with long, curved striped arms to either side. Set atop a light brown backdrop, this bold, organic form stands out. Julita Elbe for Paper Collective.
