Garnet Robin Necklace Earrings Set

Who doesn't love a Robin? Symbolic of Christmas, the winter season, a year round gardeners companion, subject of many childrens drawings and a character that has a place in many of our hearts. This was great fun to design with many revisits to the drawing board - or more accurately tweaks to the 3D model on the PC. The robins red breast is created with an oval faceted natural Mozambique red garnet. The stone is secured by wings either side and detailed feet prongs at the base. The wings feature grooves to let light through to the back of the garnet to allow its rich deep red colour to be shown off to its best. Garnets are associated with fiery passion, strength, and creativity. They are the birthstone for January. Suitable to wear for daytime or evening wear. Supplied on a 18 inch sterling silver chain. Both the pendant and chain are finished with a commercial grade rhodium plate to give a high quality shine finish.
