The STELLANTIS FPW9.55535/03 standard applies to all “BlueHDi” 1.5L and 2.2L Diesel engines fitted with SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) allowing NOx (Nitrous oxides) treatment through the use of AdBlue® additive or so-called “Diesel Exhaust Fluid”. The FPW9.55535/03 specification also covers some PSA Gasoline 1.2L “PureTech” requiring this standard. Indeed, this dedicated lubricant helps reduce the wear of the timing chains on these engines in order to increase their reliability. The exclusive technology of reduced Sulfated Ash levels and reduced Phosphorous and Sulfur contents (mid-SAPS) protects and extends lifetime of modern after treatment systems such as SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) and Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). The 100% Synthetic base stock provides a high thermal stability and insures an exceptional resistance at high temperatures. Prevents from varnish and sludge to maintain engine cleanliness, especially on cylinders and pistons, and lowers the risk of ring sticking.
