The Monument 455E Tap Reseating Tool is a professional reseating tool designed to re-cut worn tap and stopcock seats without disconnecting from the pipework. This essential plumbing tool eliminates the need for disruptive disconnection work, making it ideal for maintenance and repair jobs where minimal disruption is required. Engineered to fit 1/2in and 3/4in BS1010 new series and BS5412 flat and bevelled seats, this tool delivers precise results across common UK tap configurations. The case hardened cutters ensure durability during repeated use, whilst the feedscrew mechanism provides fine adjustment control for accurate seat preparation. All parts are fully interchangeable, simplifying maintenance and ensuring long-term serviceability. The comprehensive set includes parallel bushes for applications where internal threads prevent tapered cone entry, making it suitable for taps with recessed body threads.
