ABS42 43A CB 90° Chrome Plated Brass Compression Bend x ABS Solvent Weld

The McAlpine ABS42/43A-CB is a 90-degree compression bend made of chrome-plated brass, designed to connect to ABS solvent weld pipes. Compression fittings are designed to make secure and leak-proof connections between pipes without the need for soldering or welding. ABS, or acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, is a type of thermoplastic polymer commonly used in drain, waste, and vent (DWV) systems. ABS solvent weld pipes are joined using a solvent cement, which chemically bonds the pipes together. The McAlpine ABS42/43A-CB compression bend is designed to be used with ABS solvent weld pipes to create a bend in the pipe. The compression fitting is tightened onto the pipe using a compression nut, creating a tight seal between the fitting and the pipe. The chrome-plated brass construction of the compression bend provides durability and resistance to corrosion.
