Maverick Men's T-Shirt

For anyone who follows Maverick, this T-shirt keeps it clear and wearable: the name set across the chest in clean, bold lettering, on a garment that works with jeans, joggers or a jacket. The Maverick Men's T-Shirt is made to order by Players Couture. Behind the name: Maverick Pete “Maverick” Mitchell is the daring naval aviator at the centre of Top Gun and its long-awaited continuation, Top Gun: Maverick. The original 1986 film made the character’s call sign, competitive flying and complicated friendship with Iceman part of pop-culture history. In the 2022 sequel, Maverick returns as an instructor and must prepare a new generation of pilots for a high-stakes mission. The sequel earned six Academy Award nominations and won for sound, bringing the story back to cinemas with practical aerial filmmaking. For fans, those scenes and characters have a life beyond the screen; they are the reason the name still prompts an instant memory.
