The system features Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT) which shuts down the tools if the rotation speed suddenly slows down. The tool delivers top comfort throughout thanks to the variable speed control feature. The Makita EM406MP line trimmer attachment has a steel drive shaft for less vibration and a longer equipment life. It also features a bump and feed trimmer head for efficient grass cutting. The adaptable attachments are easily fitted with a tool-less slide joint coupling with a simple clip-lock fixing the attachment securely in place.
