The SP001G is a 165mm brushless Plunge Saw, powered by a 40v Max Li-ion XGT slide type battery. It features soft start for smooth start ups, variable speed controlled by dial to enable the user to match the speed to the application and constant speed control to automatically apply additional power to the motor to maintain constant speed under load. The SP001G is equipped with easy to set depth adjustments, depth stopper for scuffing to enable the user to cut a preliminary groove at a depth of 2mm and positive stops at the most commonly used bevel angles. It also has dual front and rear bevel supports for increased rigidity for precise and accurate bevel cuts and a locking lever to hold the blade in position so that the wrench can be used through the hole in the blade case.
