The Makita PV001G is an 180mm cordless brushless polisher powered by 40v Max Li-ion battery. This model is designed mainly for polishing applications in the car painting industry. The lower max rotation speed uses for polishing curved portions, narrow spaces or for finish polishing. The higher max rotation speed is used for scratch removal with polishing compound.
