The Makita LS1040N 260mm Mitre Saw is an upgraded version of the predecessor Model LS1030. It has a higher rigidity of all over the body. It now also has a more accurate cut as well as a more efficient chip/sawdust collection. The sub fence holds material more widely for increased stability while cutting.
