The GA9020S is virtually identical to the GA9020 except it has a soft start motor. Designed with long term durability in mind, it is heat resistant and features anti-dust protection so that less debris is sucked inside the machine. The Makita GA9020S is a 230mm (9") angle grinder which is available in 240v or 110v - this is the 240v version which comes fitted with a plug for use with standard UK mains sockets.
