Part of Makita's twin 18v LXT cordless platform, the DUX60 is a multi-function power head with an efficient brushless motor. It also features three speed settings and a variable speed control dial which enables the user to match the speed to the application. The DUX60 is equip with soft start and an electric brake for maximum productivity and increased operator safety. The Makita EM406MP line trimmer attachment has a steel drive shaft for less vibration and a longer equipment life. It also features a bump and feed trimmer head for efficient grass cutting. The adaptable attachments are easily fitted with a tool-less slide joint coupling with a simple clip-lock fixing the attachment securely in place.
