Makita's DRC200 is a robot vacuum which has been designed for commercial & industrial use. Powered by two standard Makita 18v lithium ion power tool batteries, the machine is equipped with a brushless motor for efficient energy transfer and long runtimes. It has two automatic modes for cleaning - random or pattern, which can be selected for optimum results according to the condition of the work area. The included boundary tape allows perimeters to be marked out which the DCR200 will not cross, enabling it to be used for specific areas on site. The vacuum is equipped with obstacle and cliff sensors which enable it to detect and manouvre around vertical drops like ledges as well as general obstructions encountered in the cleaning area. Additionally, an onboard buzzer and flashing light help alert any nearby workers to the machine's presence as it goes along its route.
