As well as the battery capacity warning function this model also has overload protection. Compatible with Makita's 14.4v and 18v LXT lithium ion power tool batteries, the DMR055 combines the features of a jobsite radio with a lantern-style worklight, making it a versatile tool for working in dimly lit environments as well as a useful accessory for leisure activities outdoors. It features a carry handle which can be used as a hanging hook, and protective metal bumpers which shield the lantern from accidental impacts and rough handling.
