You made the decision: you have purchased some fantastic spotlights, ceiling lights and as the cherry on top even a wonderful pendant light for over the dinner table. Eco-friendly as you are, all the armatures are highly energy-efficient and fitted with an LED light. You are proud of the outcome. As a finishing touch, you would like to be able to dim the armatures. This creates a challenge: which dimmer is suited for which LED light? Lucide lighting provides the perfect solution. We have developed a universal LED dimmer that functions on our armatures and light sources, as well as 90% of the market-available LED lights by other brands. Each type of LED light 12V or 230V requires a different control system. The Lucide LED dimmer is equipped with a switch mechanism that allows you to set the dimmer to either Leading edge (RL 5-150W) or Trailing edge (RC 5-300W) regulated LED lights. The built-in screw lets you very easily set the minimum and maximum dim range. In addition, the Lucide LED dimmer standard comes with a sleek and stylish cover frame in the colour white (RAL9010). If you would like to select your own cover frame, you can pick from most known brands on the market. This includes Berker - Busch-Jaeger Gira Jung - Merten by Schneider - Niko and Peha. (Busch-Jaeger and Niko requires an adapter which is included with the dimmer) Lucide’s Tip  Create a test setup first. Flickering or zooming of the lights, transformer and/or dimmer indicates a bad match. Please test this without screwing the dimmer onto the wall. Always keep your eye on the minimum and maximum load of the dimmer (see max Wattage RC/RL) Please carefully check your wall socket. The Lucide LED is only compatible with regular receptacles with threaded holes. No separate receptacle clips are included, making the dimmer incompatible with receptacles without threaded holes.
