The ALUXX-grade aluminium frame uses shaped, single-butted tubing to balance strength and weight, giving a responsive feel without being harsh on longer rides. The geometry places you in a more performance-focused position than a road endurance bike, while still offering stability when the surface turns loose or steep. A flip chip rear dropout lets you fine-tune the handling: run it short for quicker steering and acceleration, or switch to the long setting for added stability and increased tyre clearance.Up front, the Advanced-grade composite fork helps smooth out road buzz and improves front-end precision thanks to the OverDrive steerer. This gives confident control when descending gravel tracks or cornering on mixed surfaces.Comfort is a key part of the Devote’s character. The Contact XR D-Fuse handlebar features a flared drop and slight backsweep for a natural hand position, while the D-Fuse alloy seatpost flexes to absorb vibrations. Both can be swapped for round components if you want to customise the setup.Shimano CUES 2x9 gearing offers a practical range for climbing, cruising and riding with bags, and the mechanical disc brakes deliver consistent braking in dry and wet conditions. Tubeless-ready wheels and 38c tyres add grip and confidence on rough roads while still rolling efficiently on tarmac.Overall, the Devote 2 is a capable and adaptable gravel bike that encourages you to explore further, ride longer and take the road less travelled.
