This compact model measures just 500mm in length, offering enhanced manoeuvrability in confined spaces whilst maintaining exceptional cutting performance through its high-leverage design. Built with precision-ground, hardened blades, these cable shears deliver clean, smooth cuts without crushing or deforming the cable. The optimised blade geometry combined with a favourable lever ratio significantly reduces the hand force required, minimising user fatigue during repetitive cutting tasks. The adjustable bolted joint ensures consistent performance and can be maintained for long-term reliability. Suitable for cutting single conductors and multiple stranded cables in copper and aluminium, the shears handle cables up to 150mm² or 27mm diameter (AWG 6/0). An integrated pinch guard provides essential hand protection during operation, preventing fingers from being trapped between the handles. Please note these shears are not designed for steel wire or wire ropes.
