Wishbone Hand Shears 4888KEW

The Kew Gardens Wishbone Hand Shears are professional-grade garden shears designed for precise cutting and edge trimming tasks. Developed through a collaboration between Spear & Jackson and the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, these shears combine horticultural expertise with traditional British manufacturing quality to deliver a reliable tool for year-round garden maintenance. Part of the Razorsharp series, these hand shears feature hardened high carbon steel blades that maintain their edge through repeated use and cut cleanly through grass, hedges and perennials. The distinctive wishbone-shaped handle design provides superior ergonomics compared to traditional straight handles, reducing hand fatigue during extended trimming sessions. A notched blade section allows you to tackle thicker stems without switching tools, whilst adjustable tensioning ensures optimal cutting performance as the shears age. Ideal for maintaining lawn edges, topiary work and general border tidying, these shears offer the precision and control required by both professional groundskeepers and serious gardeners. The soft-grip handles deliver comfort during prolonged use, whilst the lightweight yet robust construction ensures manoeuvrability without compromising durability.
