Telescopic Hedge Shears 8120KEW

The Kew Gardens Telescopic Hedge Shears are professional-grade cutting tools designed for trimming hedges and topiary with enhanced reach capabilities. Produced through a collaboration between Spear & Jackson and the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, these shears combine horticultural expertise with traditional British manufacturing quality. The telescopic aluminium handles extend from 670mm to 860mm, providing an additional 500mm of reach for tackling taller hedges and hard-to-reach growth without the need for ladders. The hardened high carbon steel blades measure 230mm in length, delivering precise, clean cuts that promote healthy plant growth whilst maintaining their sharpness over extended use. An easy-to-operate twist and lock mechanism allows quick adjustment of the handle length, whilst adjustable tensioning ensures optimal blade performance for different cutting tasks. The lightweight aluminium construction reduces user fatigue during prolonged use, and non-slip soft grips provide comfortable control throughout extended trimming sessions. Ideal for maintaining formal hedges, topiary shapes, and tall border plants, these shears are suitable for both professional gardeners and enthusiastic home users managing larger gardens. The extended reach makes them particularly effective for maintaining hedge tops and reducing the need for step ladders during routine garden maintenance.
