Stainless Steel Onion Hoe

The Kew Gardens Stainless Steel Onion Hoe is a specialist hand tool designed for lifting onions and general cultivation work in vegetable plots and borders. Produced by Spear & Jackson in collaboration with the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, this hoe combines horticultural expertise with traditional British manufacturing quality. The mirror-polished stainless steel head resists rust and cleans easily after use, making maintenance straightforward even in wet conditions. The 305mm FSC-certified ash handle has been weather-proofed for durability and provides extended reach compared to shorter hand tools, reducing the need to bend when working along rows of vegetables. This hoe is ideal for lifting onions without damaging the bulbs, and equally suited to hoeing between vegetable rows and weeding in borders. The leather wrist strap allows convenient storage when moving between tasks.
