6M Foam Rubber Draught Excluder Seal Tape Doors & Windows

Keep draughts out and warmth in with this 6M draught excluder seal tape for doors and windows. The weather strip has a total length of 6m, a width of 10mm and a thickness of 6mm, and it is suitable for sealing gaps of 4mm to 6mm around door and window frames. Sealing gaps helps reduce cold draughts, noise and dust coming into your home, making rooms feel more comfortable and helping reduce heat loss. The source describes the material as high density silicone rubber, with a neat black finish that looks tidy around frames. The improved strong adhesive backing is designed to stick firmly and last, and the strip is easy to cut and install and is waterproof. It is ideal for front and back doors, windows, loft hatches, garage doors, sheds, caravans and conservatories. To install, clean and dry the surface, gently warm the adhesive side with a hair dryer, peel off the protective tape a little at a time and press into place. When you approach the length you need, cut to fit before removing the rest of the backing, then press the strip gently into the door or window frame. Check that doors and windows still close properly after fitting. Avoid fitting in very cold or damp conditions, as this can affect adhesion. It is a simple, affordable way to improve comfort at home. Package includes 1 x silicone rubber weather strip. An easy-fit seal to stop draughts. | KDMD 6M Foam Rubber Draught Excluder Seal Tape for Doors & Windows in Black
