Turbomax HSS Drill Bit 5.5mm

The 5.5mm Irwin Turbomax HSS Drill Bit measures 5.5 x 93mm, offering increased capacity for larger fixings and more demanding drilling applications. This size is particularly useful for clearance holes for M6 bolts, heavier fabrication work, and applications requiring a more substantial hole diameter. Designed for portable and cordless drills, this bit is primarily engineered for drilling metal and sheet metal, whilst also excelling in wood and plastics. The 93mm overall length provides enhanced reach for deeper drilling operations and thicker materials, making it ideal for structural metalwork. It can be used for drilling stainless steel, though a coolant should always be used to maintain optimal cutting performance and bit longevity.
