Description

Lighter tents use slimmer poles, and this 6.9mm diameter section from Hi-Gear is the matching spare. At 650mm long and a negligible 40g, made from 95% fibreglass and 5% steel, it disappears into a repair kit until the day a pole cracks under a gusty pitch. Then it earns its money several times over, letting you swap the damaged section and carry on camping instead of improvising with tape and hope.
