The 40v battery delivers powerful performance and with none of the hassles of power cords or fuel tanks, enabling every corner of the garden - as well as remote areas like allotments, to be accessed with convenient go-anywhere portability. An Auto Feed line system helps to prevent interruptions during use, and the shaft has a telescopic action which enables it to be shortened or lengthened to facilitate a comfortable working posture. The head can be angled, to allow for access underneath obstacles like garden furniture, and rotated for edging applications. The ST40B also features a plant protector which helps to prevent accidental damage to other plants or sensitive surfaces in the vicinity of the work area.
