In this case, the bottling is entirely drawn from sauternes cask #805561, and the dessert wine’s kinship with Glenallachie’s Speyside character is obvious as the two dovetail to present fresh apricot and apple with honeycomb, joined by warm spices, caramel, poached pears and heather honey.
