Wooden Log Store Asphalt Roof

This sturdy fir wood log store is essential for keeping your firewood properly seasoned and sheltered from the elements. The store elevates logs off the ground & helps shield them from the rain, whilst the open front and slatted sides allow free circulation of air around your pile. Drier logs burn easier, producing more heat and less smoke than damper counterparts. The roof of the store is slanted to prevent moisture build up, and skinned with asphalt for extra protection. An added bonus of using a log store is to help keep pests at bay; a loose, damp wood pile is the perfect resting place for all kinds of unwanted intruders, whereas a properly ventilated and elevated storage space is a much less attractive proposition for pests. The wooden log store comes flat packed and requires assembly; all fixings are included, and we recommend setting aside at least 30 minutes to complete the task.
