Rosewood Combination Gauge

The Faithfull Rosewood Combination Gauge is a precision marking tool designed for accurate joinery work and woodworking layout tasks. Crafted from premium hardwood with brass facing plates and fittings, this combination gauge delivers the accuracy and durability that professional carpenters and joiners demand for quality workmanship. The gauge features a nylon friction pad positioned beneath the knurled brass thumbscrew, which reduces wear to the stem whilst ensuring secure and smooth adjustment. This design allows for precise, repeatable settings when marking out measurements on timber, making it ideal for laying out mortices and marking with the grain. The dual-pin configuration sets this combination gauge apart from standard marking gauges. The second pin is specifically designed for mortice work and can be accurately positioned using the screwslide mechanism, enabling precise marking of mortice widths without the need for multiple tools or repeated measurements.
